Six Baltic Sea organisations, among them BDF, have applied to the European Commission for the lead role in two projects within the upcoming EU Baltic Sea Strategy.
The projects fall under the headings “Making the Baltic Sea Region an environmentally sustainable place” and “Making the Baltic Sea Region an Accessible and Attractive Region” respectively. The specific interest presented is focused on clean water and green energy.
It is an important signal that six Baltic Sea organisations are set to collaborate in order to implement a flagship project in the Baltic Sea Strategy on a joint and transnational basis.
The organisations are: BSSSC, B7 Baltic Sea Islands Network, Euroregion Baltic, Baltic Development Forum, CPMR – Baltic Sea Commission, and UBC – Union of Baltic Cities
