CBSS high level meeting on education and science in Riga

The Council of the Baltic Sea States high level meeting in Riga 13 September on “Higher Education and Science for Sustainable Development and Competitiveness of the Baltic Sea Region” addresses the need for making the education in the Baltic Sea Region more competitive and attractive. Read more

The BDF director Hans Brask addressed the meeting as key note guest speaker. Hans Brask underlined the need for the Baltic Sea Region to develop its clusters: “Without trying to pick the winner of tomorrow, more could be done to promote cluster developments. In general, the region has a very good brand when it comes to educational level, research and innovation. The region is “Top of Europe” and it should be exploited with a view to attracting foreign investments and foreign students.”
