 BDF establishes co-operation with European Business Summit21 February 2008 Greening the Economy was the summit title at the 6th European Business Summit in Brussels 21-22 February, where 2500 decision makers from businesses and politics all over Europe took part in turning the “carbon challenge” into a business opportunity.
During plenary sessions on topics as emission trading, nuclear energy, education and innovation participants exchanged views and suggested solutions. Under the heading New Energy for Business the extensive networking village supplied participants with knowledge and important insights on energy safety and supply, renewables and environmental responsibility. As a strategic step towards etablishing closer ties with the European institutions and business community, BDF has agreed with the organizers on complementary summit co-operation, where BDF has its strongholds on business and politics in northern Europe and EBS on their hand on EU and the European business. |
