Energy Scenario Analyses with the Balmorel model

14 December 2009
Baltic Development Forum has the pleasure of inviting energy experts from the Baltic Sea Region to a one week introductory course on “Energy Scenario Analyses with the Balmorel model”. The course is organised in cooperation with the consultancy company Ea Energy Analyses, and will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark form 25th until 29th January 2010.

The recent energy report Sustainable Energy Scenarios - Setting an agenda for the future, initiated by Baltic Development Forum, financed by Nordic Council of Ministers and developed by Ea Energy Analyses, documents that huge benefits can be exploited through closer cooperation and energy planning among the countries around the Baltic Sea Region. All the countries will profit from such cooperation. The best way to identify these common opportunities is through sharing energy data, knowledge and analytical instruments.

In order to develop a common approach, Baltic Development Forum and Ea Energy Analyses offer a unique introductory course on the Balmorel model for developing energy scenarios on the Baltic Sea Region. This course will provide the participants with useful knowledge about the energy planning tools that can help turn challenges into opportunities.

We hope that you will accept this invitation and take part in this valuable learning process!
