BDF Chairman meets with the Minister for European Affairs of Poland

Mikołaj Dowgielewicz is confirmed as speaker at the 11th BDF Summit in Stockholm on October 5th where he will discuss the future EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region together with his Swedish counterpart Minister for EU Affairs Cecilia Malmström.

The Strategy was also the topic of the meeting in Warsaw as it might be implemented further during the Polish
EU-Presidency starting 1 July 2011. Since no Baltic Development Forum Summit have taken place in Poland so far, the possibility of organizing a Summit in Warsaw or in one of the Polish regions in the years to come was also discussed during the meeting.

Baltic Development Forum is looking forward to continuing its fruitful cooperation with the Office of the Committee for European Integration UKIE and other Polish partners.
