Baltic Development Forum Chairman Uffe Ellemann-Jensen welcomes the joint venture with Region Skåne at the BDF Summit 2008:
– Making the 10th Anniversary Baltic Development Forum Summit a joint venture between Copenhagen and Region Skåne is a fantastic symbol of the successful regional integration around Øresund. The Øresund Region is a forerunner in regional integration with its integrated labour market, university cooperation and business and research clusters which have created the economic dynamism and success – much due to the Øresund Bridge, says Baltic Development Forum Chairman Uffe Ellemann-Jensen.
