2017 will be a busy year for Baltic Development Forum, as the EU-funded projects in our portfolio enter into a new and more active phase. In 2017 we will also organise our 19th Summit in connection with the Forum for the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in Berlin in June, while also continuing to develop our core activities related to political and regional cooperation, the digital economy, water and environment, and energy.

Therefore, we are seeking a student worker to strengthen our communications and marketing efforts. This is a paid position for 10 hours/week. We offer an international and dynamic working environment where you will have responsibilities from day one and will be able to develop your organizational and project management skills, establish a wide network, and attend high-level meetings and roundtables with stakeholders from business, academia and governmental authorities.


You will be working at the BDF Secretariat in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Your tasks will depend on your profile and interest, but could include:

Previous experience within communications and public relations, including press relations and web/social media management is required.


You are currently enrolled at university or equivalent, and have completed a minimum 2 years of studies in a relevant field, such as communications, media, journalism or marketing. You are interested in international relations as well as regional development, especially within the Baltic Sea Region and its 11 countries. Please note that all applicants must have relevant documentation for being able to take up a paid position in Denmark.
