At the Programme Conference, we will show what differences transnational cooperation can make when successful projects continue working as thematic clusters (energy, innovation, transport and Baltic Sea waters). We will also look into the future of the European Territorial Cooperation 2014-2020, and discuss the relationship between the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region and the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020.
The Baltic Sea Region Programme Conference 2012 will run back to back with the 20th BSSSC Annual Conference, 17-19 September 2012, in the same venue.
The European Union’s Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 promotes regional development through transnational cooperation projects. Partners in countries around the Baltic Sea work together to find joint solutions to common problems. Find out more at eu.baltic.net.
