The secretariat is a dynamic and international workplace. Our official working language is English but informally mostly Danish/Swedish. The secretariat, based in the heart of Copenhagen, is small but flexible. Together with our Advisory Board and close network, we define the strategy for our activities and projects that span a wide field of different sectors.

Internships
The Secretariat offers various internships throughout the year, and is advertised on our website. The internships vary between three to six months or as individually agreed.
The perfect candidates have completed a minimum 2 years of their studies in social sciences or business administration, sales and marketing. You are interested in international relations as well as regional development, especially within the Baltic Sea Region and its 11 countries. Please note that all interns must have relevant documentation for being able to take up an internship in Denmark.
The internships are not salaried. However, during the internship you will have the possibility to establish a wide network and to attend different meetings and roundtables with stakeholders from business, academia and governmental authorities.
