As part of our communication strategy, Baltic Development Forum issues a number of reports in strategic area of importance for the Baltic Sea Region.
The Baltic Development Forum Summit Report summarises and puts the finger on key areas for development of the Baltic Sea Region, pushing policy development in strategic areas.
The State of the Region Report is an annual publication issued at the Baltic Development Forum Summit. It has become an appreciated and respected institution of competitiveness, economic performance and prosperity in the Baltic Sea Region used by governments, organisations, financial institutions, and private actors. The report is written by leading researchers from Harvard Business School and the Stockholm School of Economics.
Together with our Strategic and Co-operation Partners, Baltic Development Forum issues a number of Thematic Research Reports in order to forward institutional knowledge about a specific sector of special interest or potential for growth.
The Political State of the Region Report provides an annual overview of the Baltic Sea Region’s political development. The main goals of the report is to analyse the current state of affairs in all Baltic Region countries, diagnose potential hinders on a political stage, as well as progressions of possible benefit for the Region’s wellbeing. Edited by Dr Tobias Etzold from the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin, it contains chapters from many distinguished academics and professionals from the Region.
The Baltic Sea Agenda was issued by Baltic Development Forum 2001-2003 as a tool for driving policy in the region. The primary target groups were executive decision makers from business, government, research/policy institutions, and the media within the region and in the EU. The last in the series was a report published in 2009 regarding the 5th Freedom. As a continuation of these report series, from 2007-2009 BDF published a BDF Magazine, which evolved and was merged with the the Summit Reports.
Baltic Development Forum makes available a number of External Publications with crucial facts about the Baltic Sea Region.
